New yorkers..................?

im going there in april whats the weather like what clothes should i take ?

cheers

April is the best time. It has it's chilly days, so bring a light jacket or sweatshirt, and it's warm days, so bring short sleeved shirts and jeans. I wouldn't say it's warm enough for shorts, but you can bring them to sleep in if you want.

Bring sneakers.

Well, I'm a New Yorker from Buffalo, which is the second largest city in the state. But, oh, it now occurs to me that you could have meant the part of New York State that has the city of Rochester or Syracuse or Niagara Falls or the state capitol of Albany, or even perhaps New York City. But you do realize that the difference between Buffalo and New York City is about 400 miles. It often snows in Buffalo in April, but rarely so in New York City, and somewhat so anywhere in between. April is a transition month, so it can feel like winter, spring, or summer. So, you really do have to be more specific.

I live in New York, i would say bring a rain coat and decently warm cloths,NOT full winter apparel. But also be prepared for some warmer days, as the temperature varies wildly.

I assume you mean New York City. You will probably be walking a lot so be ready for that. It can also be very windy on the city streets in April.
